Life and Me!

Sun Feb 7:

I cut off all my hair today. I didn’t plan to but when Dee started shaping up the sides for me – I decided to go for it. The last time my hair was this low was about 25 years ago. I have a nice round head 🙂 that matches my round face. There’s something liberating about not having to deal with hair. But now I can’t ignore my brows anymore. AND I also don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars to “do” my hair. I figure hair or face – I don’t want to spend time on both anymore I gots me more important things to do, like weight train, write, draw, work, read, learn new shit and watch movies.

Yesterday I bought a Wilkinson razor – Metal handle, old school butterfly opening with a single blade – It’s for men to shave their beards but I like how it looked and I’m working on being kind to the environment – less waste. However, there’s no guard on the razor like I’m used to so I was afraid to use it, I just stared at the box for a while wondering if I should return it. But I figured, if it doesn’t work for what I want, I could grow a beard. Anyway, I went for it and guess what?

  • I didn’t cut myself
  • I got a close shave
  • I don’t need five blades, just a single sharp one

Today I did one and two perspective drawings – YouTube lesson from Bardot Brush!
