I felt pretty good today! One of my co-workers put on a very educational presentation during our town hall. (can something be very educational? it either is, or it isn’t, right? ). It started around COVID but went into how diseases get transmitted to humans from animals. My take away: To battle zoonotic viruses, we should all become bats!
For now, the horse is sipping the water. After André returned from his walk, we talked for about an hour. Summary: I told him we’ve been having these conversations for like eight years now. When you think of change, think in terms of weeks or months and eventually days! Working on the same thing for eight years doesn’t make sense. (you might as well just give up and die!) He reminded me that he hates authority figures and that I should have consulted him before I changed the time to 8 hours. Well, buddy, because I AM an authority figure, I don’t have to consult you on shit! (he didn’t like that, but it is what it is). I gave him an extra two hours so he has 10 per day, (which is too much, I know).
