Doing stupid shit, but I learn quick. A few months back, I decided it was best to use Asana instead of OneNote. My objective was to have everything in one place and make it easy for me to create follow-up items/reminders for myself. However, there’s not enough space for me to write and think in the description box in Asana – So now I’m back to using OneNote, and I think I will segregate reminders just for me vs things that require team involvement to solution. I need physical and digital space to work effectively.
I sometimes get slapped in the face when I try to take shortcuts. When I’m learning, I have to take notes; I can’t just read. And if I’m not taking notes, then I have to do what I am learning. Otherwise, I might as well not learn it! Depending on what it is that I’m reading about, that’s the only way info sticks, through doing or note-taking. I am learning a lot from Product Roadmaps Relaunched.
Friday I go do my MoCA test. I’m excited.
I just got back from SickKids ; it’s almost one am. Matt had an MRI appointment for 9 pm, we had to get there 30 minutes early for screening, but they were running more than two hours behind. I’m so sleepy. I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.
