Life and Me!

Wed Feb 10:

I’m on my pre-covid wake up routine. I got out of bed at ~ 3:22 am, then I:

• Duolingoed in Japanese (I haven’t done French in a while)
• Made my bed
• Sit ups (15-15), push ups (10-10-10), squats (30)
• Showered
• Published two of my draft poems (while drinking homemade bone broth)
• Started working at ~ 7:00 am

Don’t get too excited – If I’m still doing this in June then we can throw a party 🙂

Today is Sabs bday – we celebrated with sushi and cake. I had Champagne Life by Neo on replay, dancing like it’s my birthday.

I want to put in spacers but I don’t have the courage to do it myself yet – Last year I bought the lube and I have the 14 gauge starter tapers and plugs. I think it will stand out even more now that my hair is short, so I really wanna do it. When I was a child people would make fun of my ears, they’d call me a “bat” or talk about my “bat ears” like I wasn’t there. My ears do look a bit pointy at the top, so maybe that’s why. I like love my ears. Do you remember the things people laughed at about you over your lifetime, or would you rather forget? Or did you do the laughing?

I’m itching to get a new iPad – it’s just sitting in the bag waiting for me to checkout. Ok … Ready for a joke:

I don't know why they call it a dumbwaiter. Somebody still has to put the food in it and push the button.
Makes sense to me. If it could do all that by itself then it would be a smartwaiter.

That’s an original. I ran it by the kids – First I had to explain what a dumbwaiter was then I told my joke – they barely laughed. Like barely. I was laughing the hardest – I feel like Joker! André said, “It’s good in a corny way. Otherwise it’s a really, really, really, horribly bad joke.”

If tomorrow morning is as good as today, I will publish my Japanese/English poem. I also found some poems from 2011. Jer complimented me on the shape of my head and said he couldn’t go that short, he’d look like a nazi – lol 🙂 He also said, “Some people have a butt crease through their head!” Oh man, I was dying! That shit’s still funny!
