When I grow up, I’m gonna pretend to be Indigenous, then Asian, so I can experience diverse racism. Which Asian or Indigenous peoples? Don’t matter; they all look the same to a racist.

One day, we will have to buy our shoes separately. Each shoe will come in its own box. Then we can mix and match our shoes. But I already do that. Sometimes I feel casual and sexy, which means I wear Vans on the left and a Stiletto on the right.

Still cleaning up WP, and I am hoping this time I’m building something that is long-term vs having to get back at it every few years. I don’t want to go back and reorg shit ever again. If I need to add a category for something new that’s different.

As for my tags, I got rid of most of them because they are mainly useful for WP Reader. I always end up going crazy with tags, and I hate how it makes my posts look messy, especially with this new theme. Even when I change my mind about using a tag, WP still keeps it. I had over 600 tags, and most of them had 0-5 associated posts.

I believe I overuse social commentary, smh, so I gotta go through all those posts and make sure I didn’t stretch the term’s meaning. But sometimes there are things I connect that may not be apparent to a reader, initially or ever, because sometimes the connection only makes sense inside my haunted filing cabinet head.

However, I do want to make sure when someone hits that category or tag, it’s accurate.

Also, some of my work still refuses to be categorized, which is rude, but also on brand. I can’t be mad, but I don’t know yet what to do with those, but I am sure I don’t want a shittonne of categories and tags ever again.

I was thinking of combining Photography with Digital Surrealism, but that doesn’t make sense. I also don’t want to do some dumb shit I will regret later and then have to reorg past posts.

I did some research and found a better name for my journal entries; I’m now calling them Lyric Essays. Yay!

Also, I am going to use the original poetry tag to count the total number of poems instead of the poetry categories.
