Life and Meh – Q2ish

When my children leave the house I get nervous – I hope that doesn’t get passed on to them and give them some kind of future phobia. Hopefully they aren’t friends with any fledging serial killers – as much as you could be a friend to one. If most serial killers get caught because of the silly mistakes they make, what does that say about our investigative policing ability? Matt is out bike riding with a few of his friends. I always ask for names and numbers and locations.

Yesterday I was supposed to get a book, and I was looking forward to this book since I bought it – it’s on psychology. Amazon updates said it was supposed to show up by 10:30 pm – no book. I checked the status and it said, “Delivered. Handed to resident.” You lie!!! But I check with the kids to be sure – no one got a package. This morning I has a chat with Amazon. At first, dude gives me the standard spiel to check the area and check with neighbours. I told him:

“Handed to resident, is very specific. If they left it with a neighbour or building management, why wouldn’t they says so?” AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE ASKING ME TO DO SHITBAG! WHO THE FUCK HAS TIME TO RUN AROUND LOOKING FOR A LOST PACKAGE – YOU GONNA PAY ME FOR MY TIME! – I yelled silently! sigh! (I do a lot of silent screaming) He decided to give me a refund. I took the refund and said thank you; but I don’t want a refund, I want my book. In the convo review comment box, I told them something like, I’d prefer a realistic date so that I don’t have to waste time talking to support and your aggressive timelines are causing people to make shit up to cover their asses – how is this good for anyone!

I’m getting lots and lots of unsolicited emails – I might start replying. Make a NANOBURST out of it! lol. Stories are everywhere! Even in your underpants – lmao (I don’t know why I said that!).

North America is so young compared to the rest of the world and I feel like a lot of our Indigenous history is lost – it’s as if things only matter once White men show up.

I learned a new word today – insouciant – from one of the dVerse poets.

Dee said she read somewhere that drinking alcohol prevents COVID antibodies from forming – well, I’m fucked! I’m gonna ask our science guys if that’s true.

Oh BTW – This friggin’ emotion wheel is confusing AF – by the time I find what I’m feeling, I don’t even know anymore cause I’m just pissed that it took me so long to go around the damn wheel so I can’t even remember my initial feeling that brought me to the wheel in the first place.
