You know the whole reason I named my blog palms upwards was because of what it means to be in that meditative posture (or even just the mudra) – you and your mind are open, receptive, listening. That is wonderful, don’t you think?
Dee said the name doesn’t encompass all that’s on my site and she is right, the name might be misleading but I wouldn’t change it if I could because of what it means to me. She also wants me to remove SugarKiss and ThunderSun and RainbowFire – she’s like, “What does that have to do with anything?” She’s right. Again. It doesn’t add value but … this is personal shit not work shit! (Wah. Wha. Wah.) I don’t know if I can remove it from the menus and put it somewhere on the page. We’ll see.
I don’t want to put any ads on my site – I feel like it will distract from the experience I want people to have … Sit! Stay! Have a glass of Grand Marnier.

Do you think there are lots of people out there who love their job like they love whatever else they love the most? When I retire I’m gonna travel the world, take courses and work and write 🙂
My fish are happy and I am happy – The new gravel cleaner works perfectly, and I was able to use the other one to refill the tank so the two are working well together. Then after I was done and packed up everything, DJ was on his side and he wasn’t moving. Even Dee was like, “Is he ok?” Just when I thought I lost him … sike!! Damn fish! He makes everyone laugh.
