Sun May 9:
Stole someone’s pyjama bottoms in my dream and they were chasing me. I tried hiding because I didn’t want to give them their pants back but I ended up borrowing someone else’s pyjamas. My entire dream, I was running, hiding and stealing or asking people to borrow their pyjama pants. Then I’d switch them out as I got new pants. Dee is training to be an art director at her current job. I’m so proud of her!
I hope you had a Happy Mother’s Day! My boys forgot to wish me HMD – Dee reminded them. She bought me flowers and The Vegan Homemade Pantry book. I found myself a great tasting vegan mayo and I had Vietnamese food today, without the fish sauce.
I wrote a fun little poem and I created an animation but when I export it as GIF it is hard to read – I will just post as image before going to bed, maybe. Or I will see if I can get myself a good quality GIF compressor. BTW – I feel like I need to add a disclaimer to my upcoming post – I don’t want to offend anybody but I think it’s so funny. (I took paragraphs two and three from Monday May 3 journal entry and put some graphics around it.
In the last few days I wrote three or four poems – I am happy because I know now that I no longer have to wait for a fully formed poem to pop into my head. Yesterday, I sat outside with my black book and thought and wrote. The poem I posted today, Allergies, Matt recommended I add the last line, Sorry, I have allergies – I updated the post because I think the poem sounds complete that way. I am surrounded by a supportive team 🙂 . I found a poetry site today called Vocal, it seems to be all about poems. However, I don’t want to duplicate my work somewhere else, so I will have to figure out how I want to use that site.
and now … presenting DIY Mother’s Day cards from when the boys were in elementary school
These are the cards that Dee found the other day – showing front and back – top two are Matt’s and the bottom two are Andrè’s – when I read, “you take minimum care of me.” I laughed, that shit’s still hella funny. Even that young, he already had his mom’s twisted sense of humour. And that, “really mom! Do I have to?” Is still his attitude. For the record, top image, I do have a neck in real life! lol!

I am having a lot of fun finding my newer self – v4.7.0 is better than v4.6.0 but v5.0 will have features that will knock your socks off. I can’t wait!!! AND obviously, neither can you!!! 🙂

Austin Kleon’s “Show Your Work” is great also!
