First … I want to apologize – I am aware of the spelling, grammar and unfinished sentences lately. I can only chalk it up to my sleeplessness because I don’t notice it in the moment. It’s difficult to spot your errors, even when you are looking for them, on a sleep deprived brain. This is probably why I cannot lose weight. I hope that when I start sleeping like a normal human that the weight I was struggling to get rid of will instantly go away “fingers crossed.” lol.

🎶 First things first I, poppa, freaks all the honeys. Dummies, playboy bunnies, those wanting money. Those the ones I like ’cause they don’t get naythin’ but penetration, unless it smells like sanitation … The sex is just immaculate from the back, I get deeper and deeper, help you reach the, climax that your man can’t make. Call him, tell him you’ll be home real late. Now sing the break. 🎶

Second … I have the most greatest mundo news to share with you. The Product Roadmap meeting went well and I found some spelling mistakes that threw me off a little but overall everyone was open and receptive. My boss wanted to review the deck and I sent it to him twice, 6:00 am and around 8:30 am but they must have been stuck in my outbox. Anyways, I was OMGing and WHATIFing …

.. suppose he thinks I am keeping the finished product away from him on purpose. Suppose he’s pissed and then he won’t want to hear anything I have to say and he’ll be disruptive during the meeting … None of that happened – I don’t even know why I thought it. My boss and I have a fab relationship – I don’t think he would think that way or do that stuff. In the moment though, as usual, I cannot control my thoughts. BUT I was able to calm myself down by ripping the seams/stitching out of an old towel. That was helpful – hearing it rip and watching the thread come apart.

In conclusion … I am looking forward to helping the team with the roadmap process and I have to meet with our CTO for follow-on convo. Do you remember your standard essay writing techniques?

Most employees want to do good work.

Extrinsic motivation derives from anticipation of an external reaction, including praise, recognition, money (positive motivators), or punishment (negative motivator). Positive motivators can lead workers to expect additional rewards for merely doing their jobs, while negative motivators may help get a task done but may have detrimental effect over time.

Intrinsic motivation comes from a worker’s internal sense of purpose, enjoyment of the work and satisfaction of a job well done. Intrinsic motivation can be furthered by designing jobs to best suit employees, aggregating tasks in appealing ways, enlarging responsibilities and allowing employees more control over their duties.

The 18 yo keeps coming to me like he’s a toddler, telling me he’s hungry.

“Boy! You’re 18 go make something.”

“I’m 18 in name only.” We laugh.

True Crime Time: Educate the kiddos. Make sure your children know not to let anyone in the house when you are not home, that includes family, cause they can be predators too and they are usually the last ones you’ll suspect. They are good at hiding in plain sight like the Predator (1987).
