Jul 8 – Journal Entry

I’ve rediscovered an old favourite song. Sing About It – The Wood Brothers 

So I get to the office at 7:15 am, after stopping at Starbucks for a Grande Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and Egg White & Roasted Red Pepper Sous Vide Egg Bites. 

After settling in and listening to the guy in the next office cough up a lung – repeatedly, by 8:45 am, I see an email from my boss … “Oh sorry, I can’t make it. Forgot I had an appointment.” 

Then he calls me, I tell him maybe it is good that he not here cause of the guy in the other room is probably spreading COVID. (I know he might not have it, but when you cough these days, you have to know that COVID will be the first thing people think of.)

Anyway, I think my boss felt terrible for not being there, cause by 11:30 am he messages me that he is coming to the office with cold ciders. lol. I had a Brickworks Rose Cider and my boss had an Original Brickworks Cider before we went into our board meeting.

I am over the moon that we are moving forward with the rollout of OKRs and that we have the blessing and support from the Board. I am also looking forward to learning more about portfolio and product management.

I have this pain in my neck, and it feels like there is a bump there and my imagination is running wild – unfortunately. I made an appointment to see my doctor, virtually, this Friday. I will keep you posted.

And I been watching Mariano Italian Cook https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu9HciPmYzLm84VhEx9CRNA . I can make gnocchi from scratch now.
