Hello! My name is fifty-two and I am sam-years-old. That means I’m between one day and three thousand years. Perhaps I will forever introduce myself age first.
“Hello! I’m Felix and you are?”
“Nice to meet you Felix. I’m sixty-two.”
Why is it “valleys” not “vallies”? Why?? BTW, I prefer the look of vallies. Do you remember:
🎶
small English sam
“i” before “e”, except after “c”
and sometimes,
instead of “ie” keep the “y”
because when a noun ends in a consonant + y,
you must change the “y” to “i” and add “-es”
but if a noun ends in a vowel + y,
you keep the “y” and add an “-s.”
You won’t remember that and neither will I.
🎶
English is my fourth language, I just forgot how to do Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. And apparently, I also forgot how to count.
Matt locked me out of all my food-ordering apps. One day I was home alone and I decided to install DoorDash but the boy beat me to it. He’d already installed that and also locked me out of Skip and Domino’s. Now if I try to use any of those apps I see this screen:

I love food; that’s why it shows up in over 250 poems. I just have to learn to love it in moderation. I could order from the website but he is trying to help me so I must help myself.
Thank you, baby, can you believe it’s come to this? (he probably can but it’s hard for me to realize i need help with something that should be so simple to do.)
Excuse me, waiter!
I’ll get it right before it kills me.
Um, do you have any calorie-free carbs on the menu?
Rowing is going well. I tested myself a few times because I woke up with words in my head and was compelled to write. I could have written them down then get to my workout, but I thought, “It’s ok. I’ll finish the poem then I will row, or at least jump rope, when I’m done.”
It never happened.
I know that if I don’t do it first thing, it won’t get done but, I felt I was mature enough to trust myself to do it later. Seems it’s best if I stick to the original plan. When I dilly-dally over getting dressed, I can feel the impluse to exercise slipping away.
You know what I just remembered? I loved working out when I was younger. What happened? It didn’t feel to be a huge chore like it does now.
They’re planning to get rid of drug injection sites near playgrounds. I not for that. I love watching children playing with needles and parents freaking out. Soon I will have to find another form of entertainment.
It doesn’t look like I’ll be fully able to bring my imagination to life for Kai and I’m a bit disappointed but that just means, at some point, the hardcover special edition will be what I want and maybe by then I will be able to illustrate it myself.
For now, though, with this paperback version and AI, I have to remix the layout – I was thinking about doing a kinda cutout-style illustration – get AI to draw one thing at a time on a transparent background and I put the scene together using Affinity. Something like that. I’m certain I can still make it a book I’m proud of.
That’s it for today. I’m considering getting a palm tat. My artist was like, “You can’t even sit for more than an hour and a palm tat is some next-level pain. I’d advise against it.”
We’ll see.
A very happy long weekend to you!
