Disclaimer: This entry contains racial slurs, racial violence, ancestral fear, and my usual attempts to process horror through inappropriate jokes. … … … Set. Ready. Go.
AI told me I should have a weird animal poetry category. lol. AI got jokes.
I finally watched Obsession (2025); it was great, but it’s not a horror movie.
My lats are burning. Using a rower is complicated, but it seems I found my workout. I didn’t want to exercise this morning, but I did anyway. That’s a great sign.
… so I said, wait. You want me to push, pull, engage my core and breathe at the same time? I can’t even remember my son’s birthday.
I’m not good at coordinating either. This week I learned that stressful games aren’t for me. That’s why playing Fortnite with the kids never worked out, and as for Minecraft, I don’t like that everything is cubed, plus the friggin’ PS controller is just as complicated; gimme an Atari joystick any day.
I’ve been playing this mobile game called Traffic Hero; you just gotta get the cars out in the correct order in x moves. Every few levels they throw in an ambulance or a fire truck that you gotta get out in a certain amount of seconds, and it’s so annoying.
This is supposed to be a casual game; why you stressing me with emergency service shit, bro? I don’t want to be responsible for people dying.
Waiting too long for my IngramSpark proofs gives my brain time to invent logistical hate crimes.
Some white supremacists working along the supply chain got a hold of my book and was like, “What the fuck is this! A nigger ballerina.” Then they burned my books.
Remember that story about them banning Black Beauty in South Africa just because the words “black” and “beauty” were together. That shit was about a horse, yo. Why you didn’t read the book first? But I get what you’re saying: Black cannot be beautiful.
I’m calling bullshit and I tripple dog dare ya to try and change my mind!
Imma fuck you up!
Let’s hope they don’t send a lynching party for me. I can feel how terrified my Earthling Ancestors must have been. Now when the cops pull us from our beds, at least we don’t get hung from a tree. As far as I am aware.
Yes. I call everybody Ancestor. Last I checked, I had almost 1500 distant relatives, and not all of them are Black. We’re all cousins, several times removed some of us but cousins nonetheless. At one point, I thought, once it came to light, we would treat each other better, but I realize that’s not true.
I saw a story about a young moose getting trapped in and damaging pools and backyard fences. The poor moose had to go through a 15-hour traumatic interaction with us.
When he got back to the woods, the first thing he said to his friends was, “Remember the wetland meadow that used to be over yonder? It’s all developed with human shit now.”
Errol the Elk chimed in, ” Carter! I told you not to go wandering. The forest edge is always shrinking. That horseshoe hare from the cedar swamp was so scared she went looking for you.”
Carter, still shaking off the trauma, replied, “At least humans are a tincy bit more civilized lately. I didn’t get buckshot to death and end up on someone’s wall. Or… the fact that my antlers haven’t grown in yet might have saved my life.”
And yes, in case you are wondering, we can build backyards that moose and other large animals don’t get trapped or hurt in?
We have the technology!
The new luxury backyard consideration for non-human animals features:
Wildlife-Safe Fencing, Pool Safety, clear Yard Layout Exit Paths and one sign that says, “Sorry about fuckin' up your habitat.”
Cause humans aren't the only ones moving through the world.
The article didn’t include anything about building better backyards. ☹️

Rando church song from mem banks
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
🎶
I ain’t gettin’ called up cause imma raise hell in heaven. Then I’m gonna raise heaven in hell and they’ll send me back to Earth. Which is fine with me.
