By the way, have you noticed that avocados don’t taste avocadoey. Close but not quite, can you taste it? A body-snatcher invasion of avocados is happening right under our palates.
I’m officially done with zip lock bags, I have about 10 reusables. I also bought a pack of washable cleanser/makeup remover pads

Every morning, I wake up, glance at the men on either side of me and say, “On se connaît?” (Do we know each other?) I wish that were true but, the sexless one here is still me. Unfortunately!
When I tell people I’m fat, it seems to make them uncomfortable. Isn’t that strange? Shouldn’t I be the one feeling awkward? It’s my reality, confirmed by the Renpho scale and all the clothes I cannot wear.
Getting back into working out always feels like I never stopped, which is a win. My current pace? I can run a kilometre in 9:35 to 10:20 minutes. Also, French lessons are coming along nicely, and my writing life is better than good but not fantastic.
Recently, I dealt with mild vertigo for five days. Some say it’s menopause-related. Just great. In addition to hot flashes, I have to worry about falling. Jesus Christ. At least I wasn’t stuck in bed, holding onto a bucket this time. Now I have hives or some shit. ugh!
On a lighter note, I wish I had a hurricane named after me – the closest is sam, which works but I like how Hurricane Samantha sounds. Did you know that cyclone names get recycled every six years?
