Fear and Flow

Fear and Flow
Often
I'd let Fear lead the way
In a tango
Of romantic tyranny
Caressing
With comforting lies
Convinced me
To close my eyes
But that's when
I was unwise
Now
I've come to realize
Fear
Can only lead me
If I let it
Reduce me to tears
I'd regret it
Detangling myself
From the lies
Observing events
With clear eyes
Slowly participating
With pleasure
Still
Apprehension
In every measure
But I promise
To go with the flow
I'd prefer that
Than to never know

“Where your fear is, there is your task.” – Jung
