Letting you in on a massive little secret
You can if you want, but you don't need to keep it
I roam outside the Collective. My head is above the clouds
Go ahead, call me sensitive; I no longer consider that negative
Always down for a word fight, slicing through bullshit with a butter knife
I am:
Competent and Cute; sometimes I behave like a Brute
Affectionate and Affable, with hate I am incompatible
Curious and Sweet, this combination will never be obsolete
mostly Playful, occasionally Serious; I can also be quite Mischievous
Sexy and frequently Self-assured; I don't need validation from the Borg
I love to think for myself; our relationship may end up on the shelf
Intellectual engagement, it is the best form of entertainment
Spending time alone; if you call, I won't pick up the phone
That last secret is well-known
Technically this is my Apr 30 poem, I had to take a nap before I could finish it – then I woke up at 11:59 PM. SMH
