Why does it take two people to walk one dog?
Humans who keep moving and moving for a fresh start over baffles me, because they don’t change but they expect everything to change. I am glad I do not want to get away from myself anymore. I was that person, moving jobs maybe even relationships but I was the common denominator. And I realize now how BPD has affected me.
Sometimes I find myself wondering what kind of self-talk goes on in a person’s head to justify their bad behaviour. Assuming they are “normal.” Of course, I often ask myself the same question – especially when it comes to my expectations of how others should behave. Where do these expectations come from? Are they realistic?
