Yay! It’s The Weekend!

May 07, 2022, was my four-year anniversary. Cheers to me for hangin’ on/in and to my co-workers for putting up with me! I love you guys!

Pretty much all the friends I have are people I met at work. Except for my long-suffering friend Sharon. I say that because if she didn’t stay in touch with me, all my friends for that matter, I wouldn’t have reached out to her. I’m better at staying in touch now. I think. You might hear from me once or twice a year. At least the people who have stayed around long enough know my behaviour is not intentional.

Happy Friday the Thirteenth!

Today I found a rock, I washed it and named it Softy. I might make a rock garden. I have a bunch laying about the place, and Dre has a collection – I’ll ask him if I can have it. 🎶 I beg your pardon. I never promised you a rock garden. 🎶

Did you know Rick James was a songwriter?

🎶 You don’t remember me, but I remember you. ‘Twas not so long ago. You broke my heart in two. Tears on my pillow, pain in my heart. Caused by you. If we could start anew, I wouldn’t hesitate. I’d gladly take you back and tempt the hands of fate. Tears on my pillow, pain in my heart, caused by you. 🎶

Adding Edvard Munch to my list of favourites, which only includes Picasso, I love the geometric look of his works, and Matisse right now. I’m not sure why Matisse appeals to me. There’s another picture I love by Munch where he is sitting alone in a restaurant.

Sometimes I find myself reading obits in the newspaper and I wonder why. IDK!

🎶 Baby I’m yours. And I’ll be yours until the sun no longer shines. Yours until the poets run out of rhyme. In other words, until the end of time. I’m gonna stay right here by your side. Doing my best to keep you satisfied. Nothing in this world will drive me away. Every day you’ll hear me say. Baby I’m yours. And I’ll be yours until two and two is three, e-e-e. Yours until the mountain crumbles to the sea. In other words, until eternity. 🎶

Every time I go to the park, kids are on the damn swings.

Just Saying!

I love walking backwards, but I cannot walk backwards uphill. I saw a lady with bubble tea and I wanted one but I left my debit card at home, cause I know me, and I couldn’t convince Dre to get me one (even though I was going to send him the money). I had a mini tantrum and threatened to kill him but by the time I got home, I was calm and didn’t want bubble tea anymore.

Thank you baby for risking your life to save me from myself!

Good night!
