Note – Discover One Word Prompt

Look at them, strolling along
Dog walking and talking, singing a song
Training for a decathlon
I stand in my spot and continue to look on

You cannot play there!
Do not sit here!
You've got it all wrong
Who's going to spray us down when you're gone?

Waiting, not long, for the next ones to come along
Oh, look, a unicorn!
The world carries on
As if nothing is wrong

Hello! I choose to name my poem BENCH because not only does it apply to a seat, it also applies to sports, when a player is substituted or doesn’t get much playtime.

I don’t know what kind of poem this is, maybe free verse – I just write 🙂
