And you get a dunce cap. And you get a dunce cap.

When I grow up, I’m gonna be a conniption fit.

Oh my God, you have no idea how difficult it is for me to convey my imagivision to AI (first world creative problems). But that might be on me.

All in all, I’m happy with how Kai’s images are coming along. Slowly but surely with rando WTFs and needing to step away from my laptop.

One day I will share with you the rando weird shit it sometimes draws, and I’m left wondering why. But look at this really fantastic pic you just drew; it was perfect. Where is this crap coming from?

BTW: Claude is really great at creating spreadsheets and formatting my WP XML export into a readable file and helping me mine through seven years of content for reusable, expandable nonsense. But I still use CGPT for drawing stuff though. I don’t know if Claude can draw.

Question of the Day:

How come things only disappear into thin air?
I feel it’s easier to disappear into thick air, no?

It’s game show time. Are you ready for Name that Tyrant?

Platinum Tier Tyrant #13

Remember, a platinum tyrant means they ruled for a long time, murdered lots of people, and one more that I forget but those are enough clues.

Born in 1893. The son of a strict farmer and a loving mother; an avid reader from an early age, yet constantly had to hide his books because Dad thought reading was pointless.

Dad was a self-made man who’d clawed his way from nothing to become the richest guy in a town nobody’d heard of. He ran the household like a tyrant, handing out beatings as his heart pleased; maybe this is where our guy got his lessons from.

Our tyrant’s response to small-scale capitalism was to read every rebellion novel he could get his hands on and quietly hate his father’s guts while doing so.

No books ever! Pulled from school at 13 to work the farm, he found his way back into education by finding a rich mentor to bankroll him instead. A habit of attaching himself to older men with better vocabularies and bigger libraries would define his entire twenties.

At 14, Dad arranged a marriage to a nice local girl from a good landowning family. The would-be groom decide to run away and I don’t believe he ever returned home. This would become a lifelong pattern; someone tells him what to do, he does the opposite, and eventually, tens of millions of people will pay for it.

Briefly a soldier. Briefly a library assistant. Briefly humble. His first published piece of writing, at 23, was about physical education (that might give it away).

Before we go, I have to share with you a (drumroll please)

Fan Letter:

No Books Ever!

Ugh! Something as simple as the placement of a comma can drive me crazy. That’s why you will hardly see them in my poetry, especially at the end of a line.

I had an English teacher who was so mean to me. I was taking this pre-university prep course because I didn’t have my high school diploma. What a icky human. I sense she hated her life. It seems she either liked you or she didn’t, because she was sweet to some students.

I can’t stand people who behave like that. They gross me out. I’d rather deal with someone who is mean all the time, to everyone equally. Then hopefully I can avoid them.

I’m happy to have rediscovered my love of language, and with Grammarly and AI’s assistance, I don’t have to worry about proper placement ever again. What a relief.

Since poems are subject to the reader’s interpretation, I feel they are smart enough to know when to pause, stop, or half-pause and stop, in the case of a semicolon. (the poem not the reader)

I hope you aren’t having problems with punctuation. And if you are, just throw them out.

If you had a teacher who sucked the joy out of something you loved, I wish for you to find your love again. Don’t worry, we live longer now; you have lots of time to figure it out.

Goodbye!
