Good hello! I identify as anybody!
Scary Movie Month has begun! Woohoo! Summer is over and it’s October, I cannot ask for anything more!
I’ve officially completed my Hinge profile, have some refining to do and validate my pics. BTW: I still hate it when people send me a “hi.” or “hello.” Soon I’ll get pissed and reply with You ain’t got nothing else to say muthafucka. Then I’m gonna look like the asshole! FMPL!!!
I’m super excited cause a new Exorcist is coming out this week. Speaking of coming out …
If you can come out of a closet, can you also come out of a backyard shed or from under a bed or a front-loading washing machine? And does the size of the thing you are coming out of suggest the severity/impact of your secret?
Do I have anything to come out of? I don’t believe so.
ART LIFE

… as usual, I go to see one thing and end up finding something even better! An exhibit called Feels Like Home; produced by the creative agency, Sunday School.

You should watch Manivald – a 15-minute short about a 33-year-old over-educated fox who lives with his mom.
Writing sketches is teaching me how to be concise and succinct. I have to learn to get my message across in three to five minutes. Also, sometimes the vision in my head is funnier than the dialogue I write down. I need to verbalize the vision – but the focus at Second City isn’t on the Action and that’s why my initial sketches in Writing 1 were compared to movie scripts. (I’m still happy about that!)
I shouldn’t worry about it but this is why I am thinking about making movies/shorts instead of animations or in addition, actually. Where something happens and what’s going on while it’s happening can be hilarious and I can’t show that in a class sketch because the focus is on the dialogue. (I will continue to work on both.)
Happy Halloween Month! I hope it’s as scary as you’ve dreamed!
