Girly, it’s Friday! I’m back to normal and IFY – when sick, a cat cannot make chicken soup and take care of you. Get a baby goat instead. It’s good to be my version of normal yes! I had a slight meltdown this morning but it was about career stuff – I’d like to write for a living but that’s probably not gonna happen right now, I’ll have to get famous on my own while keeping a day job.
And by the way, that Troll and Ballerina story I wrote that I will probably never get back to finishing, I’m gonna edit and post it soon.
Dre said me would make a horrible roommate because I’m always moving shit around, repurposing other shit, putting things where they shouldn’t go, i.e. curtains in front of my bedroom door and blasting music mad loud at all hours. I replied, “That’s only cause I want you to move out!” He laughs like I’m joking.

At a bar in Berlin I was sippin’ on some gin Met a fine lady with an alluring grin We danced We drinked I told her all about ... My ex old lady Sue The hockey rink I played in at as kid How Sue drove me to the brink Before Sue, I never took a drink (well … that’s not entirely true but it rhymes) Sue - what a mess I made of us Poo! Sue - You were supposed to take care of me Stew! But it’s ok Sue cause I found me a new old lady True! And I won’t mess this up like I did with you Boo hoo! I’m Shamus. sh(a)-mus. Pronounced like the Irish not the detective and this poem is named - I don’t want to be the same old me, but I still am probably, we’ll have to wait and see.
Remember when I said I wanted to start a movie poster collection – I have Black Panther (2018), Candyman (2021) and Us (2019) – all original double-sided 27×40” I’m gonna leave them rolled up with their certificate because if I don’t mount them properly, they could go down in value. AND to mount them properly I need to buy a certain type of frame.

Oh yeah … I took up collaging – I like destroying and creating at the same time. Plus, I figured while I’m getting good at arting I can still bring my crazy ideas to life. And I can also trace my collage and who knows what will happen from there. I’ll share my first one with you – I’m doing it the old school way with paper, scissors and glue and also digitally. I like being able to touch things with my hands and face when I’m creating sometimes.
Patiently waiting I am for The Boogeyman (2023) to stream.
