seismic i am 
much
like the surface 
of the ocean 

feel me bend 
around you 
as sound waves
diffracted

in everywhere
everywho
i am precisely 
added and 
abstracted

perhaps 
i don't intend 
to cause 
an incredibly 
tremendous 
commotion

however
in all its splendour
i must absolutely 
express my emotion
this notion

in our world
all the things I've seen 
enacted
how can I not be 
impacted

promise to do better
I need to feel 
connected
but am I ready
redact-it

you have my 
devotion
we can no longer 
afford to move 
in slow motion

in everywhere
in everywho
my light confounds 
wave-particle duality

please recognize me
as i am ... 
of every race
ethnicity 
and nationality

go boldly
and dare 
to imagine 
life anew
can you view me 
that way too

don't crush me 
down 
with your baggage 
of assumptions
your skewed 
point of view 

i am either or 
both and plus
understand me 
in my allowed states
my simplicity
and complexity
in all my totality

with and above 
everything else
be good to me
and together 
let's undo
what we're 
used to
