Oh my Jesús. I am going to die.
Why is it so unforgivingly scorchingly hot! I’m in so much discomfort and the AC is on. And of course, I gotta go to the office tomorrow and Tuesday – But I am looking forward to hanging out with those guys. Work doesn’t feel like “work,” and I am grateful for that.
I love the word shlep.
A Shlepherd is someone who carries sheep.
Bet you didn’t know that!
Thank you! Thank you!
🙂 🙂 🙂

I’ve been asking myself why I expect the rats to behave like … not rats. “Guys! Don’t steal food from each other. I have more over here.” They are so chaotic – I still have fun watching them, and often I leave shaking my head.
Me have great news. Dee invited me over, so I will get there after work Monday and leave for work Tuesday – I may walk actually. Depends on how hot it is in the morning. I may not go with my girlfriend to Burlington Beach – it’s too hot, and I am going to be horrendous company. We will have to reschedule.
There is no toilet paper in the house, and since yesterday, I refuse to go outside to get any. We got boxes of tissue paper. Sufficient!
While still turning the place upside down for my first sketchbook; I rediscovered Of Love and War by Lynsey Addario. She is a photojournalist, and this book is her photo journal. You know how I feel about rediscoveries 🙂 For my next few artworks, I will use images from her book.

I used to go to high school with a guy named Ernesto. His name just popped into my head!
