Hell O Jell O! Matt made breakfast/brunch for everyone. Thank you baby!
Today, or maybe it was yesterday, I figured I’d make art of the shoes I cannot give away and don’t want to throw away. I think they can become planters, vases or holders of things and wall art.
I spent part of the day trying to learn to see body parts geometrically. Stereometry is a way of adding measurements to the body parts by viewing them as geometric solids, cubes, spheres, etc. I want to learn to draw/see this way to make creatures by combining human/animal anatomy to make it look realistic.

Quickly I realized I don’t know how to read a ruler – I know wholes, quarters, but I didn’t know how to read the lines between those. I.e., 5/8 and 7/8, etc. Now I do! 🙂 Sorta but I am not comfortable with it yet. I will redo this exercise tomorrow.
I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.

I use the model for quick stuff, but I want to learn human anatomy for artistic purposes because I think it will help me to draw the intricate things I see in my head. AND in the process, I get to learn anatomy for real – this book goes into the skeleton, muscles, tendons, and details on bones in the neck and hands for example.
Tomorrow is going to be Monday! In case you didn’t know. I, however, am hoping to wake up to a Saturday for the next five days.
There is something else I wanted to tell you.
