No one knows the history
Of this project manager's misery

Work forever in-flight
I do not take delight

Churning away in indecision
Platform burnt without permission

Stakeholders reappear
Sensing the end is near

Executive sponsor whimsy:
     I know you had the kickoff today
     But we wanted it yesterday
     Have it ready for tomorrow
     
     Plan nothing
     Be ready for everything
     You have our full support
     This better not end up in court

Developers frisky:
     Yes we've done this work before
     Of estimates we are unsure
     We may create according to spec
     But in the end, you get what you get
     
     Please just leave us alone
     Ourselves, we cannot clone
     Ok here, we'll throw you a bone

Antagonistic strife

Lessons learned, what a gem
But we don't heed 'em, in the end



TEAMWORK WORK TEAM

I don’t feel this way often, (thank God!) but the last few weeks have been especially taxing. Clients are returning in droves to get projects completed that were on hold because of COVID.
