i never forget what i told myself yesterday
Or the day before that
The week leading up to that day

The month before, leading up to that week
The year before, leading up to that month 

... Still here. Right where i started no progress made
i guess; maybe; micro minuscule - so small that it is not worth measuring. But! 

Regardless! i never forget. i see me telling myself
Every new day - you can do this! 
You've done it before, which means, you can do it again
