you know that saying 
about God not making mistakes 
well… i'm ready to give my testimony

when i look about the place
mistakes are always in my face
empirical evidence we must embrace
that statement is an inaccurate disgrace

or perhaps i shouldn't take it literally
but i prefer specificity 

suppose we change the saying to one of the following:

• when it comes to galaxies, stars, planets, mountains, oceans, plants, fungi, microorganisms and non-human animals, God does not make mistakes.

or

• it seems God has saved all of his mistakes for human beings.

however, to avoid disbelieving our eyes, i suggest we dispense with the sophistry and scrap the saying immediately.
