Given time
Unlike love
Forgetfulness
Leads me back
To your arms

Within days
I’m reminded
Why I don't belong

Forgetting
Leads to

Misremembering
Leads to

Romanticizing
Leads to

Errors in judgment
Leads to

The reality of you
