I got news
On creatures crossing
Specifically the chicken

There's always a fête
Over the road
Farm, domestic
And wild animals
By the truckload

Phil with his quartet
The piano playing pangolin
Ronto with his trumpet
When creatures cross
A party's on the other side

Humans
Are not invited
They tried
But humans being humans
Every disagreement
Devolved
Into a fight

Drive carefully
On your roads
Party poopers
Because animals
Shouldn't have to die
When they
Just wanna get down
