As a reminder, our tyrants are Japanese figures linked to the Nanking / Nanjing Massacre and human experimentation, Emperor Hirohito (though his role is often debated) and Shirō Ishii, the director of Unit 731, Japan’s biological and chemical warfare program

Unit 731 was similar to the Nazi human experimentation programs, primarily carried out by the SS in concentration camps under the leadership of figures like Dr. Josef Mengele (“The Angel of Death”).

To be clear, like Unit 731, these experiments:

Were carried out without consent
Caused unimaginable suffering and death
Had zero scientific merit, but were framed as “research” for military and racial “advancement”
