Dedicated to those with their unctuous charm
Posing seraphic but empty
Lacking in substance. Substantially
They do not know how to improve themselves
Mentally, emotionally. And, in the same way
They lack availability for ethical intimacy
Those predatory men. Devoid of insight
They resort to base behaviour
Preying on emotionally vulnerable women
Forthright! I am not one of them
I have no desire to change, or elevate you
Bail you out of a bind, especially
One that requires money or moving in with me
This heart does not subscribe to loving blindly
My attachment style allows me to detach with ease
I'll do as I please
It's too soon to have a soft spot for you
And even if, when I do
My passion remains grounded in reality
With foresight that is 20/20
