I expel you from my life
With the ease of spitting out unflavored gum
I eject you like unwanted stomach contents
Without another thought to what you'll succumb
Because, you see, you never sat right with me
I pluck you out of my life
With the ease of uprooting weeds
Your self-awareness is that of a flea
Fixing you is not my responsibility
I have better places to expend my energy
Gone from my life, I erase your memory
The second line from last Friday’s post kept swirling about my head, and I’m all about encouraging others to remove trash people from their lives. So, I created this poem.
