This was the best work week I had in a long time. I got to see my mentor in his fancy office – well, I don’t know if he considers himself my mentor but I’ve learned a lot from him. I even learned much from Bossman this week – he doesn’t often take the time to teach because he’s forever in a rush, but when he does it’s valuable.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, I spended time with one of our clients. Soooo exciting – listening to people’s ideas and watching them figure things out is fascinating.
After the meeting, I walked about for a bit and ended up at Earl’s for my artist date where I found out that Earl’s first name is Buster; lol. Buster’s Kitchen + Bar? Ewwww! I’d never go there; it doesn’t have the same fanciness. I had three martinis and a hamburger. Their lychee tini is better than their dirty tini but I love olives and I also love Earl’s.
I wrote a short poem, it might be a haiku, and I have digital art and photos to post. Tomorrow Dee and I are gonna see the new Alien movie.
It’s a long weekend! Hooray! And BTW, I wish I had a tail and ears that moved independently – that would make my life!
