This was my first piece. I’ve always been drawn to imagery of women with antlers or animal features, but too often it felt like the antlers were just stuck on — disconnected from any deeper meaning.

I wanted to do more than decorate. I wanted to honour the whole animal — its spirit, strength, beauty and symbolism — and show how it merges with the woman, fully.
