I feel blah – but I managed to get through the work day. I wanted to go offline for half-day, but I already have to make up four hours before the end of the week. It’s only Tuesday, too early to be wishing for Friday, but I am. Might I be ready for more responsibility at work? Do I feel blah because I am restless?

Partly inspired by the quotes I’ve seen on The Skeptic’s Kaddish, I will make individual posts based on dad’s display pics on What’s App. Starting with Hafiz. I got the idea yesterday when I was checking to see if the Baskerville theme was updated, and I saw a few sample posts with single quotes and them looked pretty. Dad updates his pics regularly, I’m gonna post my three favourites – I might have shared one or two with you already. They will likely go under my poetry section.
FYI: I cannot spell “siscors” and Grammarly is only underlining but not correcting me right now for some reason.
I was up late last night trying to finish my creature. I have trouble with scale for foreground vs background stuff. If I see an image with a person in front of a rock formation or a tree or a building, the scale is apparent, but it is hard for me to put it all together when trying to draw from different photos. Also, I will decide if my creature character is a hero or villain after I’m done drawing them.
I am also having trouble with taxonomy and using it to assist me in creating my creatures. I get the domains and kingdoms, but then it gets confusing when I go further down to phylum, class, order, etc. I just want a simple selection process. Jer Nye the Science Guy, to the rescue! Maybe I don’t even need to distinguish between kingdom bacteria and archaea because they don’t look that different on the outside. BUT … archaea are cool and can live in places bacteria can’t which can contribute to the characteristics and abilities of my creatures. UGH!
I hope you had a non-blah day. I feel like going back to play Animal Crossing to make more self-portraits – AND now too, I know how to do different poses, it will be fun 🙂
I remember things best when I write them down and do them. By the time I get back to PBI to finish Bossman’s dashboard I will have forgotten everything.
