fog and rain
hard to explain
the cognitive load
of getting through the day
in cement slippers and 
a grand piano on my head

to smile 
to do anything worthwhile
to remain bedless

fog and rain
shouldn't go together 
like 

toxic mindfulness or
majestic diarrhea 

pretending all's a-okay
from the bowels of a bad day
