As the protector of the abused 
I show up and call a truce 

To your abuser I will utter:

Today is your last day
Is there anything you’d like to say 
Except sorry, I was having a bad day or
It will never happen again or
Some BS that blames the victim 

Before I allow you to speak 
To prevent pounding hands
And trampling feet
I must sever your cervical spine
From C1 to S9 

That may be incorrect 
But I am a ninja 
Not a vet

Intimate partner violence
