And Then There Were …

Life is hot af (not in a good way). And they’re calling for another heatwave.

The laundry room card-loading machine is broken. I’m still as fat as I was last month, and just a few hours ago, I fell and almost knocked out my front teeth, the right tooth shifted to the left and ended up slightly behind my left tooth, and I chipped two of the bottom ones.

Ended up at an emergency dentist and now I have mini braces, a massive headache, and my mouth hurts worse than anything, even when I broke my arm. This is a different kinda pain, and the most tragic thing is I can’t eat the shawarma I brought before all this shit happened.

Is this my weight loss moment?

Anyhow, I’m on a creative roll, so no complaints. And if my tooth dies, I will replace it with a gold one.

My like button was missing for like … a week, and I didn’t realize it. I was trying to troubleshoot something else when I noticed that all it said was ‘Loading’. Everything was working, then it stopped. It turns out to be a plugin conflict. Now my site icon isn’t showing up.

Just when I thought I was done with troubleshooting plugins, they pull me back in. (You know what movie that line is from.)

Right now, I’m wondering if I still want to try optimizing for mobile.

I was up in Grand Bend about two weeks ago at our CTO’s place; it was so beautiful. When I was younger, I always felt I would never move out of the city, but it was quiet and serene.

It reminded me of when we went to Prince Edward County – we weren’t near a lake, but that feeling was the same. I have some pictures to post, but I gotta make sure there’s no personal data in them.

Oh, and finally, the post I’m most proud of this week is Workplace Revolt Set to Music. – I can’t put that shit on LinkedIn but I love it! I love the poems i wrote this week but this piece was different and fun to write.

From now on, every time I get feeds from PMI, I might write a rebuttal-type article or turn it into a comic or poem, or whatever I feel like. Gosh! (You know what movie that line is from.)

I hope you didn’t break, fracture or bend any body parts. Have a good week.
