When the world wears me down
To you, I come

For deep conversations
silence and stillness
Forehead kisses
and infinite cuddles

I take refuge in your company

And when you're not around
I sleep on your pillow
and dream your dreams

Your scent
  comes to me on the breeze

The rain
  taps your favourite songs on my window

Every heartbeat
  whispers your name

Like muscle memory ...
  Your love lives in me
