I created Black Lion as a tribute to the emotional complexity and quiet strength in Black men — a digital portrait of masculinity as I imagine it and would love for it to be.

His eyes seem to carry the weight of the world — tired, sad maybe, but still present. Still powerful. This piece honours what is often unseen: tenderness beneath resilience, beauty beneath burden.
