F is for Aryan Fanatic

F is also for Faggot!

Since Brady isn’t playing football anymore, I don’t find him attractive. Orhaps I only ever really looked at him with his helmet on. Did you hear about the park fire in Pickering last weekend? I flew into a menopausal rage while hiking with the fam; I had survivor’s guilt, but only for a few seconds.

Yesterday, I attended my first funeral via Zoom, which is not the same as a Zoom funeral. And, of course, I am always thinking about my mortality—I still want my funeral to be in a dance hall. Or outside, because I love trees and mountains and I love to eat and dance—we can have a BBQ at Basecamp and then go to a nearby dance hall.

Question of the day: Do square roots make box trees?

Moving on …

What’s Happening

It’s been a minute, I know. I have been doing some adventurous things to get out of my comfort zone. I went to someone’s backyard BBQ. I mostly sat on the stairs reading Eugene Onegin and laughing out loud. Later in the evening, I played pool poker.

Last Thursday, I was feeling antisocial, but I still showed up to hang with my writing friends at Snakes and Lattes, and I even ended up playing games. Today, I was supposed to go to a daytime party, but I felt achy, and then the shower stopped working. Suppose my dream guy was at that day party?

Still, I don’t understand why adults have day parties. Maybe the venue is cheaper, or the DJs aren’t available at night.

The other day, I read an article about dating that said we should find reasons to say yes to someone. Often, we think about why this person isn’t for us, but that is the wrong approach. So, that is what I’m consciously going to do next time—find reasons to say yes! I feel I did that before with B2. Didn’t I?

Aside from that, I’m just working, looking for creative jobs, being lazy, and writing every now and then. I have nothing else going on. AND I’m reading four books right now! If there is any book worth reading again, it’s Franz Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth—still relevant.

Matt’s Grease performance is coming up; I’m looking forward to that. AND … he’s graduating this year – All his prom shit is expensive.
