Duplicitous
Apathetic
Ignorant
Unapologetic
Based on your speak
Arrogance and intentions leak
As does your pace of change
I've learned much from you
Over the years
Far from unscathed
Through sadness and tears
My fortitude propels me
My words do not appease
They bite - bring to light
Of my voice
I am feeling its
Power and purpose
Ability to expose hypocrisy
Leanings towards empathy
Support of transparency
Of compassion, you've offered none
But I no longer want or expect it
You are incapable - I get it
I don't need your guilt
Blood is still being spilt
I need
Acknowledgment
Accountability
Corrective action
I am still waiting to see
Despite it all
I display kindness
But at no time
Will I ever
Excuse
Your wilful blindness
