Cineplex is showing a selection of films called “Understanding Black Stories.” – All for free. Curated by Cineplex people, I guess. I’m not sure how long it is going to last. I’ve seen most of the movies. Some I haven’t seen in a long time like Malcolm X, The Color Purple, Do The Right Thing. Others have been in my library and on my watchlist for a minute – Moonlight, Waves, Queen & Slim, Loving.
I plan to watch all the ones I haven’t seen that I haven’t bought. Then I am going to re-watch my favs. It’s gonna be a movie marathon weekend with André – Matt is doing his own thing – as usual.
