tolls paid to the bell
ringing is commonplace

a nod to the certainty
of death, taxes and also…
repetitive change

fortunately, for now
i have a peaceful home base

suppose where we end up
is just blind luck
(you ready for that)

it's cool if i’m not worthy of heaven
most likely, i’ll meet you in another dimension
