When social structures are inequitable
And chock full of unscrupulous people
Imagine if we all sank into cushions of

Cognitive laziness
Collective unconsciousness

We wouldn't demand change
There'd be no

     Protest or petitions
     Labour strikes
     Whistleblowers
     Boy- or buy-cotting
     Independent journalism
     Civil disobedience or
     Artistic expression

A stuporous hive of the 99%
Entertained into complacency
