Smart
Supportive
Affectionate
Playful and kind
Loud and annoying at times

Anti-racist
Anti-sexist
Anti-all the worst things
(cause there's lots)

Able to navigate
A world of adversity 
With grace

Know rest
Tenderness
Pleasure 
And softness

Continue to have 
Healthy outlets
To express
Anger
Frustration
Pain

Take pride in letting go

Have access to therapy — get help
Practice self-care
Spend time in nature and solitude
Don't hold grudges or brood

Know... they'll always have my ear

Be the best partners and friends
Set and maintain boundaries
Respect those of others

Are surrounded by people
Who keep them grounded

Are discerning
     In knowing who and what deserves
     Their time and attention
