Plenty of Unsuitable Fish

Unbeknownst
That's difficult to come by

     - compos mentis
     - available
     - emotionally stable

How can I not find ONE
Out of plenty

Given my criteria
It would be nice if
I could quantify 
What plenty is

In the absence of this
I wonder...

Is there an issue
With my fishing ability
     - inadequate bait
     - subpar rod and reel
     - laughable hook-setting and timing

Seems all that's left 
In my tackle box
Are rocks

Am I in the wrong sea
Or

Are these waters foreign to me
