Apples, Peaches, Pears and Plums
What fruit will you become? In sum
I do not recognize this seed
A bitter melon, durian, stinkweed
  
What tree did you fall from
With your constant negativity
Where I rarely get anything right
On every subject, we must fight
Despite it all, I'd love to reunite 
But I feel, that won't happen tonight

Or ever
There was a time when 
That thought didn't sit well
But I am alright now
I hope you can tell

Blame me for all your problems
If that makes you happy and 
Releases you from accountability
Just know ...

The person you CHOOSE to be
Has nothing to do with me
I will NEVER take on that responsibility

You've shown me who you are 
And I am ready to see
It's time to go your way 
On that 
I am sure we will agree

This poem is dedicated to my son. Possibly both of them but definitely one.
