Whenever I hear "curve," I think of women's bodies, then my mind goes to the poem below. I've loved this poem since I was a teenager. It makes me feel confident, sexy and self-assured. For a time, the book was my constant companion. I read this poem so often I knew it by heart. If you hear Maya Angelou read it, it's even better.
